Should the State of Texas reassert its status as an independent nation?
Texas was its own fully soverign and independent nation from 1836 to 1845 and then Texans voted to join the united States.The President soon to be Governor at the time, Sam Houston, said "Texas will lift its head and stand among the nations" recognizing that Texans someday would choose full independence again. If we have the vote again today, how would you vote?
